What is a reading?

Here are the most common questions and concerns I am asked:

Many people ask me what a "reading" really is. I explain to them the best way that I have explained it to myself. To me, a reading is a way of channeling information from something within us. All of us have the ability to read if we want to. The source to reading is merely tapping into one's "gut instinct" or "intuition," which is something most of us become aware of at a young age. Being tuned into your intuition allows you to be directly open to the language of the Universe. From here, you can get information directly on your own or you can be assisted by a guide or spirit helper (also known as a guardian angel). I am neither special nor different from you. I choose to pay extra attention to my intuition and along with your openness; I can tap into you and help you see what you want help being shown. What comes from that is what I call "reading you" and a way for me to assist in the vision of your life.

Will I hear something bad? I don't want to know anything bad.

"Bad news" is a huge fear factor for people who have never had readings done before. Don't worry; you will never be given information that you cannot handle. Your guides know how to protect you and guide you. They will never deliver a tough message without some sort of advice and direction to get you through it. So, yes, sometimes bad news is delivered but my clients leave with a focus and intent to handle it when they leave. They also realize that the "bad news" isn't so bad after all.

Do you ever see death?

Not usually. I have found that the Universe likes to keep this information private. Most people are not ready or able to process death, so therefore, they keep this part of the mystery a part of life's journey. I have seen two occasions in 10 years where I saw death but the clients were already comfortable/accepting of it and had prayed for confirmation to start the preparation process. Again, this is RARE and definitely not something to fear.

I think I'm psychic, how do I know?

Of course you are! We all are. When you start receiving and paying attention to feelings, sensations and "information" that comes to you in any form... this is your intuition. Try to focus on it and listen with repetition. Before you know it, you'll be so strong as an intuitive and can take over my job!

Is this considered evil? I am religious and I don't know if I should do this.

To me, what I am doing is not "evil" or dark at all. What I do is help people. I have many clients who follow many different religions and faiths. I personally feel that we all have guides (guardian angels, spirits, etc) that are with us helping us along the way. I feel within us is a direct channel to the Universe or God, etc. I help people feel closer to the Universe by helping them be in touch with their own inner guidance. I do not, however, encourage you to do anything you are uncomfortable with. If you feel that this simply does not follow along with your particular belief system, then you should only do what feels best.
